Booked my 5th gate 1 trip on gate 1’s 2015 “black Friday” special in late November of 2015. Led to believe we were saving $500 for 2 of us on the package.

On January 12, of 2016 we looked at the same package and were disappointed to find out that we could have booked the same package for the same price we paid without the so called “Black Friday” discount. More frustrating is now the package includes direct airfare which would have saved 7 hours in flight connections costing us almost an extra day at the destination.

Called Gate 1 (Mr. Breece) and their attitude was even “so sad so sorry” but “tough luck”.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

In regard to the pricing, there are many reasons that the prices can fluctuate. Continuously changing airfares can have a significant affect on the overall cost.

However, for the land

portion, it does seem that you are paying less than the current land only price. We do regret any misunderstanding and should you wish to review this further, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
